Wet Wet Wet

The threatened West Coast Rain has finally arrived after a magic run with the weather up until now.   Rain warnings were in force for our last night at Franz Josef and we woke uo to about a 2” lake around the caravan.   We were due to move on just 60km to Hari Hari, no real reason except that there is a replica of the 1st plane to cross the Tasman which crash landed in a swamp about 10km from Hari Hari.
A real winding hilly and bumpy road similar to that going in to Franz Josef and with the rain wasn’t pleasant.   We have stopped at a caravan park at the Hari Hari Motor Inn, a real country pub on the main road.   Seeing BBQ Pork Ribs on the menu decided our culinary aspirations for the evening and Pauline and I joined Jenny and Robin to enjoy a hearty country sized meal at the Pub.
