Nice cool morning after some heavy rain overnight. Intermittent rain is the forecast for today so hopefully it will clear later. Long range forecast is for a couple of days of rain followed by some sunshine.
The weather has fined up and turned quite warm if a little windy, we all went our separate ways to look around Blenheim. First stop for us was " the Vines Village" out on Rapaura Road, this is a selection of boutique shops, the ladies headed straight to the quilters barn, full of interesting things for quilters while Robin, Derek and myself went to try out the goodies in the fudge shop. I resisted the fudge but bought some English sweets which I remembered from my youth ( a long time ago).
On the road to the Vines Pauline and I watched chocolates being made at Makana Chocolate factory and enjoyed sampling the Pinot Noir truffles and butterscotch macadamia crunch - yummy!.
Back into town for a light lunch and a wander round the shops before returning to the caravan.
After dinner we shared a bottle of Lindauer with Robin, Jenny, Derek and Dot.
